Hello

I am a member of the British Acupuncture Council and have been in private practice since 2003. I enjoy meeting new people and (through acupuncture therapy) helping them to become both pain free and maintain good health. As a keen hiker, when not in the clinic, I am often enjoying the outdoors walking in the peak and lake district.

If you, a friend or family member are struggling with any health concerns please contact me.  I should be able to offer some help.

Kind regards,

Daniel

Daniel keeps up-to-date with continuing professional development by attending post graduate studies and trainings. He feels privileged to have both met and studied alongside the late, world renowned Dr Richard Tehfu Tan. First in July 2014 at The British school of Osteopathy (London) then again in November 2014 at Limkokwing University (London).

Dr Tan was concerned that many acupuncture practitioners were not achieving the results he saw daily in his own clinic. The kind of results promised and written by the ancient physicians of Chinese Medicine in the Classical text. Dr Tan often used the following acronym which he became well known for; “Li Gan Jian Ying”.  This translates as “When you stand a pole under the sun you immediately see its shadow” Applying his wonderful “Balance Method” allows these immediate results.

Prior to his passing, Dr Tan entrusted his three close apprentices to continue his life mission of sharing his Balance Method. As a result, Si Yuan Balance Method Acupuncture was born. Daniel has traveled overseas to continue his studies of Classical Chinese Medicine with the Si Yuan team. First in January 2017 to the Palace Hotel (Lucerne Switzerland) and again in September 2018 to Universite De Paris. (Paris France).

In 2022 Daniel completed his studies in a new branch of acupuncture. Neoclassical Acupuncture is an innovative and revolutionary approach, created by Dr. Slate Burris. Neoclassical Acupuncture allows treating multiple symptoms with a single needle. In May 2022, during the Masterclass seminar at The University of Westminster (London), Dr. Slate Burris showed how to treat various symptoms with A SINGLE NEEDLE. The results are immediate.

Dr. Burris has studied with some of the best including Dr. Tan and Kiiko Matsumoto. Through years of diligent clinical practice, he has been able to devise a method of abdominal and leg palpation to determine which Elements, Meridians and Extraordinary Meridians are closed. With minimal needling – simply a single needle – his method clears blockages that lead to a significant reductions of symptoms, sometimes even 100%.

Daniel is committed to continue his studies with both the the Si Yuan Balance Method Acupuncture Team and Dr Slate Burris. "The one needle treatment is indeed "next level practice". I am happy to be at a stage to offer this technique to my patients" (Daniel)

Prior to Covid, Daniel volunteered regularly at Beechwood Cancer Care Centre, where he kindly supported cancer patients going through chemotherapy. Due to the speed and efficacy in quickly helping people out of pain and discomfort, balance method acupuncture allowed Daniel to see and help several people within a short amount of time. The Stroke association and Signpost for carers are also organisations that Daniel has helped out.
